we decided to celebrate our 9 years of marriage with a new house! just kidding- we actually were not looking. we loved the house we were in and we were still in the process of finishing the basement. we absolutely loved our ward and had no desire to move. Then one day on a spontaneous moment we were all of a sudden with a realtor looking at homes. we figured since its a buyer's market and the intrest rates falling that why not, we acutally would walk into a good amount of equity. Basically from the time we saw the house we wanted until we closed it was one and half weeks. It was so fast that a lot of our ward didn't even know we were moving until it was announced in elders quorm and relief society to help us move out. we didn't move far though, just 15 minutes down the road to the other end of castle rock - same stake just different ward. Right after we celebrated our anniversary we were on the move packing and cleaning. we just recently rented out our old home and so far we are loving our new home. Now to calculate- in 9 years we have lived in one apartment, 1 condo and 3 homes, and all but the small apartment we rented in utah has been in colorado. we are still planning in the near future to actually build our home and where is it going to be? - colorado of course. This is what happens when you marry a colorado native- though I am very much taken by the state as well, how could you not be?

Yeah. Congratulations! Now you can continue to have your next 5 kids and it's less work for Mark :) I love the house, but the snow is making me shiver...I was able to get my Colorado native out of there for that reason precisely!!
