LIKE MOTHER, LIKE SON!

yes, i am officially a soccer mom! Jaron makes such a cute soccer player and i love to watch him play. i become such a proud mama as he runs onto the field and starts to practice it soon makes me realize how fast time flys. i can't believe jaron will be 5 next month and i swear it seemed like yesterday that this little man of mine was just a baby in my arms. i always joke with jaron and tell him to stop growing because it makes me sad and he giggles and says " i am mom, i am growing really big".

MY GIRLS

so I am a little behind on my blogging. After I got home from my last adventure ( my annual girls trip) life has been a whirlwind and I am just now catching up. This year our girls trip was in Park City. From our stay in the sliver kings penthouse ( thank you kara's dad), much need pedicure pampering, ziplining in olympic park, outlet shopping, white water rafting, amusement park/ water park fun, late night games, morning walks, hot tub hopping, fine dining, meeting the all so famous band tantric, SLEEPING IN, and just being with some incredible women minus one this year (missed you shaunna!). It was an amazing time as always and already can't wait until next year! Of course I can not help but to mention the wonderful support of our husbands who let us do this every year and who put up with our craziness and love us anyway!

EVERTHING PRINCESS

Brinley turned 3 on september 2nd and her birthday list included:
> princess inventations that her royalty decorated herself with stickers
> a royal luch at her FAVORITE place, Mcdonalds , in which only VIP's were invited
( Mom, Dad and her Grandparents)
>every princess must have her nails and toes done so off to the nail salon for some much needed pampering!
> She of course had say in which cake was to be presented at her party! She helped order only the best princess cake they had.
>a princess must always show up to her party in her best dress and hair curled and styled
>the party - Ballons, lights, a royal throne and lots of presents only fit for a princess!
> She ate, played , hoarded her presents to make sure no one touched them and actually smiled for the photographer ( which is rare)

( then the queen took a long nap, she was exhausted from all the party planning)

12,000 FT, NOT A FOURTEENER- BUT CLOSE ENOUGH!!

Our family reunion was in utah this year. mark's family owns a cabin up towards sundance where the kids had fun playing in the near by creek and swinging in the hammock. The first day we went to cabela's and the kids enjoyed the stores many spectacles. The next day we all had fun at seven peaks water park- especially brinley she couldn't get enough. After a whole day at the park we were exhausted and crashed early that night. we all got up early the next morning to hike Mount Timpanogas to the very top, which is a little over 12,000 feet. It was such a beautiful yet painful hike, through the many blisters and sore muscles it was worth the trek. The week in utah was fast and crazy. We drove over on a saturday and spent a couples of days with my family. It was so nice to see some of my siblings that i hadn't seen in a while and spend some time with them. We then packed up are stuff and spent a night at our friends house before heading up to the cabin for our family reunion. As we got together with our friends, we all realized that we had know each other for almost 10 years now. we all met in a young married byu ward 10 years ago and we still get together at least once a year and stay up to the wee hours in the moring playing games and laughing until we can no longer keep our eyes open. it was so fun to see them all again but as the next moring approached we packed our stuff up once again and headed to the cabin. We finish out our week playing cards games with the family, hiking, swimming and just having a blast together. My children were very happy that they got to see 2 grandma's and 2 grandpas and they had so much fun playing with cousins and friends. It seemed like we had been gone for weeks only because of how many times we moved around and of all the different activities we did, but we so much enjoyed, as always being with family and friends.
