Our family reunion was in utah this year. mark's family owns a cabin up towards sundance where the kids had fun playing in the near by creek and swinging in the hammock. The first day we went to cabela's and the kids enjoyed the stores many spectacles. The next day we all had fun at seven peaks water park- especially brinley she couldn't get enough. After a whole day at the park we were exhausted and crashed early that night. we all got up early the next morning to hike Mount Timpanogas to the very top, which is a little over 12,000 feet. It was such a beautiful yet painful hike, through the many blisters and sore muscles it was worth the trek. The week in utah was fast and crazy. We drove over on a saturday and spent a couples of days with my family. It was so nice to see some of my siblings that i hadn't seen in a while and spend some time with them. We then packed up are stuff and spent a night at our friends house before heading up to the cabin for our family reunion. As we got together with our friends, we all realized that we had know each other for almost 10 years now. we all met in a young married byu ward 10 years ago and we still get together at least once a year and stay up to the wee hours in the moring playing games and laughing until we can no longer keep our eyes open. it was so fun to see them all again but as the next moring approached we packed our stuff up once again and headed to the cabin. We finish out our week playing cards games with the family, hiking, swimming and just having a blast together. My children were very happy that they got to see 2 grandma's and 2 grandpas and they had so much fun playing with cousins and friends. It seemed like we had been gone for weeks only because of how many times we moved around and of all the different activities we did, but we so much enjoyed, as always being with family and friends.
