A NIGHT WITHOUT CHILDREN!!

We had our annual christmas party this last saturday night. It started with warm homemade soups, baked potatoes and delicious salads. Next we had a white elephant exhange in which suprisingly the one present stolen the most was a high school musical blanket. (obviousley we had some very determined mothers with daughters in mind) After we had voted on who had worn the worst ( or should i say best) christmas sweater, we proceeded in a hysterical, yet revealing hour of the Newlywed Game. Finally we topped off the night with some christmas traditions. By the time the night ended it was late and we were all exhausted. As everyone left we debated to forego the mess that awaited until tomorrow morning, but then we stopped and realized that wait, our children are spending the night at grandma's tonight and we can sleep in!!!!!! oh the joy! once the mess was cleaned up, we headed off to bed knowing that we wouldn't be awakend by our teething son at 3 am or by our other children at 6am. Thank you grandma and grandpa for a wonderful night with friends and a whole night of unenteruppted sleep!

I decided to make name tags for everyone and that if they were edible they would be even better! i thought they turned out cute and went well with the table settings!
Just some of our awesome friends, old and new!
